Where does the data come from?
County assessor, GIS and permit-office records, FEMA’s flood layer, NOAA storm reports, and a licensed property-data provider for structure details. Every field on the report names its source.
Which areas are covered?
We read building details directly from the county across Shelby County and most of Tennessee, ten Mississippi counties including Marshall, and all of New York — lookups there are unlimited. Parcel data is also free statewide in Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, Maryland, Utah and Virginia. Everywhere else a licensed property-data provider fills in the building details, and that lookup uses your plan’s monthly data allowance. Coverage varies by county, so ask us to check yours before you subscribe.
